Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information ABtake collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ABtake is operated by AIMAN Software ("we", "us"). If you have questions, write to [email protected].
What we collect
- Account information from platforms you connect. When you connect Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, we receive the basic profile information that platform shares with your permission, such as your account or Page name, username, account ID and profile picture.
- Access tokens. The platform gives ABtake a token that lets it act on your behalf within the permissions you granted. We never see or store your passwords.
- Content you add. The videos, captions, titles and cover images you upload to test or publish.
- Performance data. For content tested or published through ABtake, we read metrics from the platform's official reporting, such as views, reach, watch time, retention, skip rate, likes, comments, shares and saves.
- Basic technical logs. Request times, errors and similar records needed to run and secure the service.
How we use it
- To run the tests you set up, show you the results and help you pick a winning version.
- To publish the content you approve, with the settings you choose, to the accounts you connected.
- To keep the service working and secure, and to respond to your requests.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising. We only use data received from a platform to provide ABtake's features to you.
When we share it
- With the platforms you connect, when you ask ABtake to publish or test content there.
- With service providers that host and run ABtake for us, under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide the service.
- When required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and security of our users and the service.
Platform-specific terms
- TikTok. Data received through TikTok's developer products is used only to provide ABtake's features to you, in line with TikTok's developer terms. You can remove ABtake's access in the TikTok app's settings at any time.
- Meta (Facebook and Instagram). Data received through Meta's APIs is handled according to the Meta Platform Terms. You can remove ABtake in your Facebook or Instagram settings under apps and websites or business integrations.
- YouTube. ABtake uses YouTube API Services. By connecting YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy. You can revoke ABtake's access at Google security settings. ABtake's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How long we keep it
- Access tokens are kept until you disconnect the account, revoke access, or the token expires.
- Your content and test results are kept while you use ABtake, so you can see past tests.
- Platform data we store is refreshed or deleted at least every 30 days, unless you ask us to keep a test's results.
- When you disconnect an account or ask us to delete your data, we delete it within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep something.
Your choices
- Disconnect any account at any time, in ABtake or in the platform's own settings.
- Ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it. See Data deletion.
Security
Access tokens are stored only on systems we control, are never shown publicly, and are used only for the actions you request. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit who can access it.
Children
ABtake is a tool for creators and is not directed to children. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top and, for important changes, tell users directly.
